What is it?

You will need a digital camera and HDR software. The two most popular which are covered in the book are Photoshop CS2 or higher and Photomatix. Either will work but both together makes some truely amazing works of art. A digital-slr with an interchangable lens and some higher end consumer cameras have the ability to automate the hardest part of taking HDR photos. Camera's like the Canon Rebel, Nikon D80, and the Sony a200 are all perfect cameras to learn how to take HDRs.
