Taking an HDR Photo – Multiple Exposures

HDR Photos are typically made of three or more photos that are brighter and darker than each other. An exmaple would be taking a photo under exposed one stop at -1ev, one photo at "neutral" 0ev, and one over exposed at +1ev.
Digital SLR's have the ability to take these three photos without manually changing the exposure setting. This feature is called Bracketing.
It is possible to create an HDR photo from a single RAW file also. Though they aren't as vivid and surreal as when 3, 5, 7, or even 9 photos are used.
